I don't write poetry terribly often, but I think I sort of said I would do this

Gorgeous, and a great topic to choose for experimenting with this form. As someone else mentioned, the repetition really lends a sense of the ebb and flow of ocean waves to the piece. Masterfully done, fledgeling or not.
