willful wind beats and kneads
a broiling hide
whitecap foam its dough
stretched back by clever fingers

a broiling hide
seared with a palmfull of salt
stretched back by clever fingers
sloughs into little whitecaps

seared with a palmfull of salt
her tongue curls up
sloughs into little whitecaps
to ride the crest of breakers

her tongue curls up
whitecap foam its dough
to ride the crest of breakers
willful wind beats and kneads
I don't write poetry terribly often, but I think I sort of said I would do this ;P
I wanted to work within a structure for once, so have a pantoum!
Criticism is always appreciated, I am but a fledgeling ;D

Gorgeous, and a great topic to choose for experimenting with this form. As someone else mentioned, the repetition really lends a sense of the ebb and flow of ocean waves to the piece. Masterfully done, fledgeling or not. ;)
