Disney Inktober #5 - Rain

I always loved the rain scene in this film! I'm really not a big fan of the way rain is used in a lot of films, i.e. rain at funerals and to highlight emotional drama. Ruins the moment every time. Maybe it was poignant and symbolic the first time it was done (hopefully interwoven with other symbolic meanings surrounding rain), but after the 1000th time it's pretty obviously only done because it's expected. Bambi, however, used rain in a moment of pure discovery, and to highlight the fierce unpredictability of nature (totally thematically appropriate). I still appreciate that :')
